– In 2009, she begun sensitizing, mobilizing and training community members in different parts of Kilimanjaro Region to establish Vicoba so as to be able to fight poverty at grassroot level.
She used to work from her living room situated at Makongoro road near YMCA. She could sometimes meet with clients under the tree or on the street side in Moshi town or in rural areas. Working without an office she managed to register 80 Vicoba groups in Moshi Municipal, Moshi rural, Same, Mwanga, Hai and Rombo districts.
– Her voluntary work spread very fast to community members in different parts of Kilimanjaro region. She started receiving invitations to assist by training them in establishing and managing Vicoba groups as well as facilitate business names registration with BRELA in the Ministry of Trade and industries in Dar Es Salaam.
